Hello everyone, This is Kumon from enish.
As the temperatures have suddenly dropped, I realized that November 7th marked "Rittō," the beginning of winter in the traditional Japanese calendar. No wonder it's getting colder. Please take care not to catch a cold. As for me, I've hurt my back...
We launched Last Memories in the peak of summer on August 15th. Time flies, and we're approaching the 100-day mark since release. However, Last Memories is still a work in progress. We will continue to update and improve the game.
Now, let's dive into today's updates and other information.
Events & Campaigns
100-Day Launch Anniversary Campaign (Starting 11/12)
As we approach the 100-day milestone since release, we're launching a grand campaign to celebrate! Take this opportunity to play and earn luxurious rewards!
The campaign consists of a pre-campaign and the main campaign, spanning approximately a month of festivities.
New Features & Improvements
Quick Challenge (Skip) Feature for Daily Content
We’ve implemented a quick challenge (skip) feature for the Klon Dungeon and Daily Dungeon. While there are no restrictions on using this feature, please note there may be slight variations in the results. For the most efficient gameplay, we still recommend manual play.
This feature was announced in the ver. 1.8 letter. When playtime is limited, we wanted to ensure that players could still enjoy Build Mode, Land Dungeons, and other multiplayer content. As such, we’ve added a time-saving feature for the Klon Dungeon and Daily Dungeon.
The variation in results is minimal, so there’s no need to be overly concerned. For the Klon Dungeon, fluctuations in rewards were already substantial by design, so the effect of skipping is relatively minor in comparison.
Changes to Equipment Sub-Parameter Generation
We’ve updated the sub-parameter generation method for equipment:
- Sub-parameters now only appear on ★3 or higher items.
- If a ★2 item is upgraded to ★3, it will gain new sub-parameters.
- Items that reach ★3 will always have at least two sub-parameter slots.
- Existing ★1 and ★2 equipment with sub-parameters:
Existing equipment that already has sub-parameters will remain unchanged. Even if upgraded to ★3, equipment with only one slot will not increase to two slots.
- Ability to exclude ★3 items during bulk awakening (not yet
implemented)
This feature wasn’t ready for the current update but is planned for a future release.
This feature was announced in the ver. 1.10 letter and was introduced to address storage limitations and reduce the effort needed for selection. However, since it also reduces opportunities for selective enhancement, we’ve ensured that equipment upgraded to ★3 will have at least two sub-parameter slots, and we’ve increased the probability of three or four slots appearing. The feature to exclude ★3 items during bulk awakening was not ready in time for this update but is planned for a future release.
Changes to Level Transfer for DOLL and Equipment Awakening
We’ve updated how level transfer works for DOLLs and equipment when they’re awakened.
[Current Method] Levels up to the maximum possible level using only level-up materials.
[New Method] Levels up to the maximum possible level using both level-up materials and Klon.
This update was originally mentioned in the ver. 1.12 letter. With recent changes reducing Klon requirements at lower levels, players have been able to save significant Klon by using lower-level materials during awakening. However, as reducing Klon costs during development was planned with player feedback, we want to avoid any strategies that give players an advantage by using this workaround.
With this change, you may now run out of Klon before level-up materials, meaning the maximum level you can achieve with the same materials may be lower than before. We’re also planning additional ways to help manage Klon shortages, so please look forward to these upcoming updates!
Battle Balance Adjustment #2: Parameter Influence Adjustments
In the first phase of our balance adjustments, we’ve made changes to several core battle formulas. For more details, please refer to the Balance Adjustment letter.
#2-1 Damage Formula
#2-2 Evasion Rate in PvP
#2-3 Skill Success Rate (Accuracy x Evasion)
#2-4 Cooldown (Agility)
#2-5 Movement Speed (Agility)
Note: We’ve also adjusted monster HP to align with changes in the damage formula.
This marks the first execution phase of our initial balance adjustments. This week, we adjusted various formulas, and adjustments for items #1 and #3 will be implemented in the coming weeks.
New Battle Content
We've introduced HARD and VERY HARD stages to the following map dungeons:
- Map of Karma
- Momentary Map
- Poison Map
- Map of Repentance
HARD mode is twice the normal difficulty.
VERY HARD mode is three times the normal difficulty.
These stages use the same maps as the regular versions and require only one map per entry. Additionally,
drop rates for key rewards have been slightly boosted.
Since release, players’ combat power has grown significantly, making the current maps feel a bit too easy. While we're preparing new maps, we wanted to add these enhanced versions as a more immediate challenge, doubling or tripling the difficulty. Please keep in mind these stages are mainly for testing your strength, so rewards have only minor adjustments, and only single-map entries are available.
Play-to-Earn Adjustments and Changes
We've implemented several updates and adjustments related to earning, as announced in October.
GEEK Holding Rewards and ADP
Introduction of GEEK Holding Reward System
We've launched a system where the average
amount of GEEK stored in your in-game wallet over a month determines the rewards and benefits you receive
in the following month.
You can receive all rewards corresponding to your achieved tier.
Average GEEK Held | Reward Type | Quantity |

Recent Calculation Periods and Reward Application Periods
First Period: Calculation Period (10/4 - 10/31), Reward Application Period (from feature release date -
11/30)
Second Period: Calculation Period (11/1 - 11/30), Reward Application Period (12/1 - 12/31)
Changes to ADP Earned from GEEK/OAS Holdings
Currently, the ADP earned for holding GEEK (or OAS) is set at 1 GEEK = 1/3 ADP. Moving forward, this will
be adjusted to reflect GEEK’s market value.
Current: 1 GEEK = 1/3 ADP
New Rate: 5 ADP per $1 of GEEK
As we mentioned earlier, this adjustment addresses the fact that GEEK’s starting price was lower than initially expected. While we’re preparing a straightforward staking program for GEEK holdings (as noted in yesterday’s announcement), this system is designed to provide even greater benefits for players who hold GEEK while actively participating in the game. We encourage you to review October’s earnings results and use this new structure to plan your approach going forward.
Adjustments to Make Earning GEEKBOXes Easier
GEEKBOX Drop Rate Based on Earn Level
We’ve enhanced the GEEKBOX drop rates in Build Mode and Land Dungeons. Now, the higher your earnLv, the
more your drop rate increases.
Increase in Total Daily GEEKBOX Drops
We’ve also raised the total daily cap on GEEKBOX drops, so more GEEKBOXes can be earned each day.
These changes are designed to make the game feel more rewarding and enhance your overall earning experience. The improvements should be noticeable, so jump in and give them a try! If you don’t yet have a blue-frame DOLL or equipment, consider joining the upcoming NFT sale on Tuesday, November 12.
Purchasing an NFT DOLL will let you experience Play to Earn (meaning you’ll have the chance to earn xGEEK that can be exchanged for cryptocurrency). I remember feeling that same thrill and excitement as when I first started playing a new game. I hope you all get to feel that excitement too!
Bug Fixes
Additional Bug Fixes
- Wallet: Fixed an issue where, after canceling a restore, the GEEK Receive button remained clickable despite the restore process still being active.
- Event: Fixed the background music issue where, upon exiting an event screen, the music would restart from the beginning if it was the same track set in the jukebox.
- DOLL Formation: Fixed a glitch where repeatedly tapping on a DOLL caused it to react multiple times in succession.
Introducing Our Official Ambassadors
Though initially planned as an occasional feature, we received an overwhelming number of applications from dedicated players this week! We’re excited to introduce our newly recognized ambassadors who will bring fresh energy and enthusiasm to our community. Here are our newest official ambassadors:
Player Name | Title | Activities (Selected by the Player) | Comment from Kumon |
---|---|---|---|
Ayakan | Official Contribution Master | As the leader of Excalion, the top union, I believe our members contribute the most to the game. I want to support user engagement, sponsor community events, and help prevent player turnover. For example, some of our members, including myself, sponsored a recent event with individual power limits. I’d love for our union’s dedication to be recognized | Wow, it’s Ayakan-san from Excalion! I’m thrilled and grateful that a leader as influential as you is invested in supporting the entire Last Memories community. Nishiki01JGG | Official Ambassador & Web3 Navigatorー | I’m contributing to Last Memories through event organization, sharing key info, AI art, partnerships, bug reporting, moderating, and providing guidance for new players. Tomato Rubro@JGG | Official Otoha Devotee | By joining the 'Faith of Otoha,' players might just receive Otoha's blessings… perhaps! | It was a pleasure meeting you at the private meetup, Tomato Ruburo-san. So, is a full-fledged 'Otoha cult' taking shape? It’s both thrilling and a little intimidating to imagine how many followers might join! I’m also curious to see if other character-based ‘cults’ might start popping up in the future…" |
Kofuku Ichigo | Official Greeting Enthusiast | Starting each day with a warm 'Good morning!', I aim to connect players across Japan and foster a welcoming atmosphere in the game. | A friendly greeting can go a long way, and we’re grateful to have Kofuku-san’s positive energy in
our community. Creating a good in-game vibe is incredibly important, and it's always heartwarming to see cheerful messages in the chat when logging in. We're really looking forward to seeing the positive impact you'll make. Thank you for spreading the joy!" |

Development Status & Updates
Since this is our second letter this week, we’ll keep it to two updates.
Progress on Steam VersionUpcoming
We receive weekly updates from Steam’s review process, and this time, they’ve requested additional verification steps, which has slowed things down a bit. We’re very eager to launch, but we ask for just a bit more patience!
Dress-Up Feature Release Timing (Apology)Upcoming
Lastly, we’d like to extend an apology. In our previous letter, we mentioned that a "Dress-Up Exclusive DOLLs" would be available in the upcoming NFT sale. However, due to final testing not meeting our standards, we’ve decided to push back the release of the Dress-Up feature by one week.
Here’s how this affects the NFT sale content:
- The Dress-Up Exclusive DOLLs offered in the NFT sale will come with base parameters similar to angel-themed DOLLs, allowing for development and gameplay.
- The Dress-Up functionality will be accessible in the next version update when the feature officially goes live.
- Dedicated Dress-Up Exclusive DOLLs will be introduced in future NFT sales.
While this delay won’t impact the value of NFTs players acquire, we apologize for the difference from our earlier announcement and for the wait on the Dress-Up feature. Thank you for your understanding.
That’s all for this week’s Producer Letter!
Today, we’ll be distributing profile frames to our official Ambassadors. We hope this makes it easier for them to engage with the community and further boost excitement around Last Memories.
We’d also love to hear your thoughts on the recent updates, including the adjusted battle balance and Play-to-Earn features we’ve refined based on your feedback. Please feel free to share your experiences on X or through our feedback form below.
Feedback Form
(While we may not
respond individually, we do read every submission.)
Thank you for your continued support of Last Memories!
