With the recent easing of xGEEK-to-GEEK exchange restrictions in mid-October, GEEK’s price has dropped within a certain range. While we anticipated a major sell-off, we were pleasantly surprised to see more in-game consumption than expected, which helped keep the price stable. That said, we're aiming for a stronger valuation than this.

To help boost GEEK’s value, we’re planning several initiatives over the next month or two. This letter outlines a few of these. Our goal is to make Last Memories even more engaging for all of you.

Our upcoming NFT sale, a key highlight, will be the first initiative I'll explain.

NFT Sale (Scheduled to Start November 12, 2024)

Our first NFT sale since the game launched is planned for next Tuesday. The sale will feature NFT versions of DOLLs previously released through event gachas, along with new DOLLs designed specifically for the dress-up feature.

Following feedback from the previous Producer's Letter, we've added Dress-Up Exclusive DOLLs to this gacha lineup. These DOLLs come with a fixed Genesis bonus of 150%.

Dress-Up System

Alongside this sale, we’re introducing the Dress-Up System, allowing players to swap the appearance of a DOLL with another version of the same DOLL.

From the Producer's Letter on 8/26

In the Dress-Up System, the original DOLL's stats, skills, and weapons remain in use, while its appearance can be customized. Players can use previously released alternate outfits and the newly introduced dress-up exclusive DOLLs for this purpose.

Introduction of Dress-Up Exclusive DOLLs

For dress-up, you can use alternate costume versions of the same DOLL, as well as the newly introduced dress-up exclusive DOLLs.

While exclusive dress-up DOLLs cannot be leveled or used in battles, they retain features like earnLv, Genesis Bonus, and BOX balance, delivering a P2E experience similar to other NFT DOLLs.

Strategies to Increase GEEK’s Value

As I mentioned earlier, we believe GEEK should have a higher valuation. With this in mind, here are a few initiatives we're planning over the coming months:

GEEK Staking Site (Planned for mid-November 2024)Upcoming

This service is designed for investors interested in growing their crypto assets rather than just current Last Memories players. With simple terms, users can stake GEEK for a set period and receive both principal and interest at maturity.

We’ll promote this mainly to users of the exchanges where GEEK is listed, stakeholders in our partner chains, and crypto enthusiasts through leading Web3 media.

For players, GEEK is optimized for in-game usage or in-game wallet storage for the most efficient performance, so I recommend continuing to use it as you currently do.

Last Memories TON mini App (Planned for mid-November 2024)Upcoming

While Last Memories has focused on mobile game users, we are now launching promotions geared toward blockchain gaming, with preparations ongoing.

This app offers simple controls to earn points that can be exchanged for GEEK, providing an engaging entry point for blockchain game enthusiasts, especially international gaming fans.

Rewards will be allocated from the ecosystem, ensuring that current players’ earning potential remains unaffected.

NFT Sale with Overseas Projects (Late November 2024)Tentative

To raise awareness of Last Memories overseas, we’ve been building alliances to collaborate with high-tier projects.

By creating a positive outcome with the TON mini app and partnering with overseas projects, we aim to reach more blockchain game users abroad.

Collaboration with Overseas Games (Late November to mid-December 2024)Tentative

This initiative is also aimed at raising awareness among international Web3 gamers. We are negotiating with several projects to create exciting collaborations that will captivate NFT holders from both sides.

Buyback InitiativeUpcoming

Funds for the buyback have been prepared in accounts on various cryptocurrency exchanges. As we implement each initiative introduced here, we will monitor token price movements and execute buybacks at optimal times in line with these efforts.

Standardizing NFT Trading CurrencyTentative

As part of our effort to enhance GEEK’s value, we are considering standardizing the currency for DOLL and equipment NFT trading to GEEK (or xGEEK). This change would solidify GEEK as a critical utility for purchasing NFTs while limiting the scope for fraudulent activities.

If implemented, this will mean that blue-framed DOLLs and equipment can only be exported to GEEK Verse. However, we plan to continue supporting imports on Polygon for the time being.
