Our apologies! The delivery of the update has fallen behind schedule.
There were two original reasons: one was that it took time to adjust the cost of training dolls and equipment, and the other was that the cause of the glitch in the Union Battle effect was finally discovered just before the deadline, and we wanted to include the fix in this update.
And as for the postponement of today's maintenance - update, it was due to the delay in the time when we could start maintenance due to the impact of Apple's failure and other factors. We were also taking into consideration and adjusting the time of the arena, and it clashed with the time to prepare for tomorrow's data update, so we were stuck in a situation where we couldn't move in any way (multiple versions of the data would get mixed up and become hard to collect).
Whatever the reason, we apologize for the delay. The update itself will be available tomorrow, but we will release the release notes ahead of time.
How to read the release notes
The release notes that provide information on the contents of updates used to be a mixture of “details of fixes and changes” and “explanation of background and intent,” making it difficult to understand the changes, and we have received such comments from many of you. In light of these circumstances, we have decided to list the changes and explanatory comments separately from this release.
If you would like to see only the content of the update, please read only the part framed by each item. The rest of the text is an explanation of the intent and background.
Events & Campaigns
PvP Free Season Opens (10/9~)
PvP Free Season has started.
PvP Free Season is a content for practice in between official matches. Private matches can be used for practice, but it takes a lot of effort to find opponents, and when there are no rankings for a single match, motivation tends to be a bit low.
We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity to enjoy heated player battles.
Difference between Free Season and Official Competition
Since the Free Season is designed to enjoy the Arena in a casual manner, rewards such as ranking rewards and weekly rewards are basically the same regardless of wins, losses, rankings, and so on. In addition, doll skills and other balance adjustments may be made during the season. Please understand this point.
New and Improved Functions
Inheritance of ability to blue frame
It is a mechanism that allows the parameters of dolls and equipment that have already been strengthened to be inherited (actually exchanged) for dolls and equipment with blue slots that are acquired later.
・Inheritance Conditions
Rarity of the doll/equipment of the source (other than the blue frame) is 4 or higher.
Rarity of the doll/equipment to be inherited (blue frame) must be ★4 or higher.
The doll and equipment must be the same for the source and destination.
The rarity of the source and the destination can be different.
・Flow of Inheritance
The source and destination dolls/equipment will inherit the enhanced values such as rarity, level,
etc.

・About the dolls and equipment of the inheriting dolls and equipment
The parameters of the dolls and equipment of the inheritee (blue frame) are inherited and remain.
・Resources required for inheritance
Special inheritance items are required.
The item will be sold at the Land Coin Exchange and at the store.
This is a remedy for cases where a blue-framed doll or equipment of the same kind has been acquired after some progress in training and subsequently cannot be blue-framed. Other than the parameters related to the blue frame, there is no change for both the source and destination of the inheritance.
Sub-parameter re-release
This is a mechanism for re-drawing the sub-parameters of the equipment.
・Flow of re-drawing
Select the sub-parameters you wish to re-draw and use the special item and logico.
・Maximum number of re-releases
Each piece of equipment can be reset a maximum of 5 times.
The maximum number of resets is for each piece of equipment, and it will decrease when any parameter is
reset.
Once the equipment has reached the maximum number of resets, it will not be able to change any more
parameters.
For example, 3x5 = 15 times for 3 frames.
・Resources required for reopening
A special item is required to reopen the equipment.
It will be sold at the store.
Blessing Inheritance (Did not arrive in time)
When equipment is awakened, the blessing value of the equipment with the highest blessing value is transferred. Please note that the blessing values are not combined, but the maximum value is inherited.
Previously, only Lv was carried over, but we decided to introduce this feature because it would be easier to train multiple pieces of equipment if the blessing value could also be carried over. Since we were not able to develop this feature in time, it will be included in the next version.
Changed the method of drawing lots for unique skills in build mode.
The draw rate for unique skills does not change (decrease) even if a support doll is set and battles in the build mode. In other words, unique skills will remain easy to obtain in any case.
Support dolls have the effect of increasing the draw rate for skills that they have in common with the build target dolls. As a result, the more support dolls you include, the lower the draw rate will be, because the unique skills are definitely not common to the support dolls.
It is too bad that the unique skills are a feature of each doll, yet they cannot be taken because of the reduced lottery chance, so we have changed it so that only the unique skills are not affected by the support dolls in the lottery rate.
Monthly pass to add number of sealed boxes held and opened
The number of sealed boxes held and opened simultaneously has been added to the Monthly Pass benefits.
NORMAL: Number of sealed boxes +1, Number of simultaneous openings +1
PREMIUM: Number of sealed boxes +2, Number of simultaneous openings +2
If you purchase both, the number of boxes will be increased by 3 for each.
If you have already purchased both, you will receive the same number of boxes.
This is an upgrade to make the sealed box more comfortable for those who do not have blue frame dolls, equipment, etc.
Changed map consumption method for map dungeons
Map dungeons have been changed to a system where maps are consumed only upon victory.
No map is consumed if the game is not cleared.
The rules have been changed in order to make it easier for players to challenge higher difficulty stages. Some of the more difficult maps may drop valuable equipment and other items. We encourage you to gather your friends and challenge them in a multiplayer game.
Fixing Union Battles
Improvement of Execution Performance
We have been working hard to investigate and address the many reports we have received about “heavy” and “effects not being visible”.
- The specific measures we have taken are as follows.
- Speeding up high impact processing that is called repeatedly.
- Omit character physics processing except for the player.
- Fixing the problem of effects not being displayed.
- Lightening of background models
Switching the effect load for each device (all effects will be completed in the next version)
Rule adjustments
- Abolished logico resurrection after losing a battle and then returning to the battlefield.
- Adjusted the waiting time until recovery (The time is a tentative adjustment and may be readjusted).
The performance improvement should have some success. We would appreciate it if you could try it out and report back to us with your feedback. Regarding the revival of Logico, this is to address the issue of union battles themselves becoming a muddle of just repeated zombie attacks, and the issue of billing pressure becoming a cause of deteriorating relationships within the guild when the official version is released.
Other Improvements
- Added maps to be consumed collectively in the map dungeons “Map of Penitence” and “Map of Causes and Effects”.
- Changed the value for recovering AP with logicos from “100 logicos / 30 AP” to “50 logicos / 15 AP.
Resource balancing
This is a balance adjustment that reflects the results of the survey that we announced earlier this week and that you all helped us with. Since we have already disclosed our intentions and background, we have few additional comments.
Adjustment of the cost of training dolls and equipment (crons)
We have adjusted the amount of Cron required to train dolls and equipment. The overall amount has been reduced, but greatly reduced in the low Lvl range and increased in the high Lvl range, although only by a small amount. Overall, we have reduced the amount by a little more than 10%.
The reason for the difference in the numerical sense between dolls and equipment is that the original cost growth between lvls was different.

Increase in the amount of Klon earned in Klon dungeons
This is part of an “adjustment to increase the amount of Krone earned.” There are a wide variety of ways to acquire crons. This week, we have increased the amount of Kron dungeons, which is the most obvious. We have also increased the growth rate for those in lower power bands.
In conjunction with this, we have revised the expected value per play upward by slightly lowering the appearance rate of the pattern with the lowest number of Golden King Pullu.
Adjustment of the amount of dolls' lvl. up data acquisition
1. Increased amount of daily dungeon gains
Increased the amount of lvl. up data gained from daily dungeons.
2. Adjustment of ratios for each type
We have adjusted the ratio of LvUp data obtained in build mode, survey teams, daily dungeons, random
boxes, and other locations by type.
Striker Mystics, which used to be overwhelmingly easy to get, have been reduced a little and allocated to other types. The ratio was originally highly skewed, but we have adjusted it within an appropriate range, so it should not be so low that it has a significant impact on the training of Striker & Mystics.
Upwardly revised start-dash log-in bonus
To welcome newcomers and support their training, we have revised the start-up log-in bonus upward. First, please enjoy the first 28 days of play.
Adjustment of maximum accumulation of various land facilities
The maximum number of produced items and other items that can be accumulated at a production-based land facility has been revised upward. Generally, it is now enough to be accessed with some relaxed frequency.
This is an adjustment in response to your comment about the burden of logging in at a high frequency to receive what has been produced. The amount of production per unit of time remains unchanged, but the amount of accumulation has increased, allowing for a slightly more relaxed access frequency.
Balance adjustment of dolls, skills, etc.
Regarding the previously announced policy for balancing dolls and skills, we are currently in the process of finalizing and discussing the adjustment policy.
The amount of information will be too large to be presented in this letter, so a separate announcement will be made and published. We are aiming to publish it this evening, and if we do not make it in time, we will publish it by the end of the week. We look forward to hearing your comments after it is published.
Bug Fixes
- Jukebox: The volume is set to 100% when a song is switched, even if the background music is changed in the BGM settings.
- Master Mode: When using the overhead camera, some walls in front of the camera are not transparent.
- Map dungeon: The destination at the end of the battle is different from the destination before the battle started.
- Charisma: Increased parameter values are different before and after acquisition.
- Wallet: GEEK holdings are sometimes displayed as 0.
- Wallet: Some xGEEK conversion missions do not show progress.
- Wallet: Unselected items sometimes scrolled and could not be deselected again.

Development progress of the Steam versionFuture Plans
We are currently in the process of reviewing the release version. We had reported that we were “aiming for around 10/18,” but the review process has not yet been completed.
The Future of Union BattlesFuture Plans
Thanks to many people's help and reports, I believe that this version is now in a state where it can be played by a certain number of people to some extent. We will continue to investigate and make adjustments to the performance issue (how heavy it is!). We will continue to investigate and make adjustments to this issue.
Promotion to beta version
Once we have confirmed a certain degree of stability with this version, we plan to make the version beta. The beta version will be provided in the following form.

Setting of Combat Strength Limit Stage
Another major problem with union battles is the difficulty in matching up with the right opponent.
As a measure to alleviate the problem, we plan to limit the upper limit of combat power in some battle fields. In restricted fields, master dolls that exceed the upper combat power limit will have their basic parameter values reduced so that their combat power stays within the limit. Only the basic parameters that affect combat power will be affected, and the effects of active and passive skills will not be changed.
The Future of the Arenaunder consideration
We are also discussing the arena in terms of how to play and how to hold future tournaments.
Setting of rules/special effects for each tournament
For the first tournament and the free season, we did not set any special rules and asked participants to play the game as it was. We hope that the players enjoyed playing with the dolls, which is different from playing with monsters. However, the dolls that are dominant tend to be fixed when the dolls are in their bare form.
In the future, we are considering setting up rules that feature some skills and dolls, as well as floor effects like those found mainly in daily dungeons, so that players can enjoy the build itself anew at each tournament and try out the possibilities of different dolls.
Small number of opponents
We are also considering a format in which multiple players battle each other in the hopes of providing a more diverse battle experience. First of all, we are considering 2-on-2, 5-on-5, etc., with the number of players within the low single digits. We envision that players will be able to enjoy battles according to the situation in combination with the rules and special effects described above.
Equipment storage pressure problem / Burden of careful selection of equipmentunder consideration
We often hear that equipment storage is overwhelmed, especially from those who are diligent about collecting and carefully selecting equipment. We also hear that equipment selection is fun, but that the time it takes is a heavy burden.
As a solution to both of these problems, we are considering changing the way equipment sub-parameters are expressed. Specifically, here's what we're thinking.
- Sub-parameters of equipment only appear at ★3 or higher.
- When 2* equipment is awakened and becomes 3* equipment, new sub-parameters will appear.
- Sub-parameters that appear at ★3 are at least 2 or more.
- Make it possible to exclude ★3 by batch awakening. (Up to ★2 can be awakened at once anyway)

Under the surface, we are also quietly promoting the “Let's Increase Usage of GEEKs” project. Currently, the only way to use GEEKs is to convert them to xGEEKs and use them in-game, but we would like to gradually increase the number of ways to use GEEKs. We are considering releasing various design information and other information. We have seen that players are verifying various aspects of the game as they play. As a result, it seems that there are many things that cannot be determined if the current behavior is as designed or if it is a bug.
I think that by disclosing various probabilities and calculation formulas, it will help in the strategy and make the verification process smoother. It will also make it easier to create strategy tools and the like. On the other hand, there is a risk of losing the fun of discovery, so we will consider the scope of information to be disclosed as appropriate.
