Yesterday (September 16, 2024), we announced changes to the specifications of xGEEK and the market within the game and on our official X (formerly Twitter) account. From the feedback we've received, it seems that some parts might have been hard to understand just through text.
I'd like to take this opportunity to explain the changes using both text and diagrams.
At the end, there's an additional restriction regarding self-trading in the marketplace. This is also an important change, so please read through it carefully.

Introduction of xGEEK (lite)
When purchasing discounted xGEEK, the discounted portion will be paid with a currency called xGEEK (lite). This xGEEK (lite) cannot be used to purchase blue-framed DOLLs or equipment in the marketplace.
Explanation with a Specific Example
Let's use the example of the piggy bank below.
This product offers 1,200 xGEEK for 700 yen. Although the rate is set at 1 xGEEK = $0.01, it currently remains at the release rate of 1 xGEEK = 1.5 yen.
The regular price quantity of xGEEK for 700 yen is 467 xGEEK (700/1.5). Meanwhile, this product offers 1,200 xGEEK, so the discounted portion is 733 xGEEK (1,200 - 467). As a result, 467 xGEEK will be provided as xGEEK (paid), and 733 xGEEK will be provided as xGEEK (lite).
By illustrating the breakdown of the piggy bank like this, you can see that a large portion is acquired beyond the regular price, making it a highly advantageous product.
Breakdown of Paid/Lite for Each Product
Since the position of xGEEK varies by product, the policy for the breakdown of xGEEK (paid) and xGEEK (lite) differs accordingly.

Usage Scope for xGEEK/Logico
Let’s review the meanings of each type of xGEEK and the usage scope for Logico.
Types and Definitions of xGEEK
- xGEEK (paid): xGEEK obtained by paying a price
- xGEEK (earn): xGEEK earned through Play to Earn methods like GEEKBOX or Land revenue
- xGEEK (lite): xGEEK obtained at a discount when paying a price
Priority for Currency Consumption
The priority for consuming each currency is as follows. They are consumed in order from the one with the relatively narrower scope of use. Please note that this is the priority within the range where they can be used.
Logico > xGEEK (lite) > xGEEK (paid) > xGEEK (earn)
Usage Scope for Each Currency
The only restriction for xGEEK currencies is the purchase of blue-framed items in the marketplace.

Addition of Buyback Restrictions in the Marketplace
Among the fraudulent activities we identified recently was a method of repeatedly self-trading in the marketplace to gain undue profit. Until now, we have not placed restrictions that lead to self-trading, assuming honest use. However, we have decided to add restrictions this time.
Addition of Buyback Restrictions
There will be certain restrictions on repurchasing DOLLs or equipment that you have sold through the marketplace.
・Scope:
Blue-framed DOLLs and equipment that you have sold
*No restrictions on red frames.
・Restriction Period: 90 Days
Items cannot be purchased again until 90 days have passed since the sale.
This restriction applies across different worlds and players within the same account.
・Implementation:
From ver. 1.8 (the next update)
Please note that there is a possibility that you may not be able to retrieve an item if you mistakenly sell it.
It may feel like there is a lot to remember, but in most situations, you can use xGEEK without being conscious of its type.
