Hello to all of you who have been cheering Last Memories. This is Kumon from enish.
The big news from last week through the weekend is definitely the "Early Test Play." Thanks so much for all the applications! And a huge shoutout to everyone who's participating—thank you!
From the in-game chat, social media, and YouTube posts about the "Early Test Play," it seems like you're enjoying Last Memories! We're thrilled to see that the charm of the DOLLs, the thrill of mowing down monsters, the challenge of strategy, and the depth of character development are hitting the mark. If you're feeling all of that through the game, then the whole development team couldn't be happier.
No matter how confident we are in the game we’ve created, we never really know how you’ll react until you get to play it. Even though we've made quite a few games, seeing your reactions is always nerve-wracking. We know there are many areas that need improvement, and we’re committed to making those enhancements.
We know that many of you applied for the "Early Test Play" but haven't been able to join yet. Considering the server load, we're planning to send out additional invitations. We'll announce these invitations on our official X (Twitter) and via email, so keep an eye out. When you get the invite, we hope you'll give Last Memories a try!
We've received hundreds of questions, requests, and other feedback. We're carefully reviewing all of it and plan to address them in future AMAs. (You can find more details in the latter part of this post.)
We also had an AMA with JGG yesterday, so please take a look! The archive is available on the official Last Memories YouTube channel.

Now, let's move on to the development progress report.
Bug Tickets
Report Summary
This past week has been incredibly productive as we geared up for the start of the Early Test Play.
The last minute push to open the service to the public and the continued response, including on weekends, reduced the number of tickets waiting for confirmation, which had been a concern, to some extent, in bulk quantities.
The yellow line is also trending downward.
Bug Ticket Breakdown
As mentioned, the number of pending verification tickets has significantly decreased. However, the number of unaddressed tickets hasn't dropped as much because we've added a series of bugs reported by participants during the "Early Test Play." (Thank you for your cooperation. We'll do our best to address these issues!)
Breakdown by Priority (Unaddressed Tickets Only)
As explained in last week's report, some SS and S tickets were resolved before the "Early Test Play" version was released. After the Early Test Play began, we reorganized our priorities: SS for high-priority items for the official release and S for necessary items by the release date.
Currently, there are 25 SS tickets and 49 S tickets, with significant changes in their contents. We will continue adjusting priorities and addressing issues until the release.
Feedback from the "Early Test Play"
High-Priority Bugs and Improvements Identified
Thanks to the reports from participants (and those continuing to play) and issues found by our project members during play, we've identified several high-priority bugs and areas for improvement.
Instead of listing all of them, here are some key issues:
Bugs:
Here are some prominent issues we've identified. We are prioritizing crash problems and device performance issues, as these take time to investigate and resolve. Fortunately, no critical bugs have been found that would impact the service release. This brings us some relief for now.
Performance Issues:
The game lags when many enemies appear (we're optimizing and checking compatible devices).
Crash on Resurrection:
The app may crash when watching ads to revive during battles.
Audio Issues:
BGM stops during battles or continues playing after using skill crystals.
Battle Entry Issue:
Some DOLLs prevent entering battles (possible data inconsistencies with equipment).
Volume Balance:
Poor balance between voice and BGM (known issue, working on a fix).
Help Documentation:
Contains errors (complete overhaul planned).
Setting Data Issues:
Problems like "floating drop items" or "impassable areas."
Improvements:
Based on your feedback and our gameplay experience, we plan to make the following additional updates:
Emergency Evasion Action:
Initially, we were firm about not including an emergency evasion action. However, due to overwhelming feedback, we've decided to add it despite the limited time. It will have a cooldown and won't be usable in GvG to maintain game balance.
Improved Path to "Investigation Team":
Players may have noticed that the play cycle involves collecting from the Investigation Team, obtaining various materials and sealed boxes, starting the unsealing process, retrieving the sealed boxes, and collecting from the Investigation Team again. The existence of the "Investigation Team" can be easily overlooked, disrupting this cycle. We plan to enhance this pathway for better player experience.
Improved Path to "Bulk Awakening":
Similar to the Investigation Team path, "Bulk Awakening" is another crucial play cycle. Players accumulate low-rarity DOLLs and equipment, which can be gradually awakened to ★4. Equipment builds up through the Investigation Team cycle and needs to be awakened in bulk. Currently, the path to bulk awakening is not intuitive, with the button hidden and hard to notice. We plan to make this feature more accessible and noticeable.
Addition of "Jukebox (tentative)" Feature:
This feature allows players to change the BGM in the home base and during battles to their favorite DOLL character songs. Originally planned for post-release development, we’ve decided to add it now.
That's all for this week's report.
Last night at 10 PM (JST), the 4th presale began, and we're thrilled to announce that the Land and DOLL NFTs sold out immediately. The auction still has time remaining, so if you’re interested, please join in!
We welcome your feedback, comments, and messages of support!
