Hello everyone,This is Kumon from enish.
The summer heat continues to be intense—hope you're all staying safe and well.
Can you believe it’s already been nearly a year since the game’s release? Time has truly flown by.
In our previous letter, we shared updates on our revised policy direction.
Since then, we’ve received a great number of messages through social media and our feedback form, including opinions, questions, and concerns.
This time, I’d like to respond to many of the most frequently asked questions by sharing everything we can currently disclose. I hope you’ll read through to the end.
Status of GEEK-Related Service
As announced in our previous letters, the following GEEK-related services have been resumed or updated:
・Delivery of Reserved GEEK Exchanges
All reserved GEEK exchanges were completed as of July 16.
・Increased Bonus for xGEEK(lite) via xGEEK Shop Purchases
This bonus has already been applied and will continue going forward.
・SBT Holder Benefits Distribution
In-game benefits for those who applied will conclude in August, marking the end of the one-year benefit period.
Merchandise, originally scheduled to ship 1.5 months after the application deadline, are now expected to ship in September due to production delays.
・xGEEK(earn) → GEEK Exchange Service Resumed
As of the July 18 update, the exchange service has been resumed.
Please note that the exchange rate is fixed at 1 xGEEK = 30,000 GEEK.
・Removal of Transfer Restrictions for NFT DOLLs and Equipment (Polygon Chain)
Transfer restrictions were lifted with the July 18 update.
・Increased GEEKBOX Drop Rates
The update on July 18 included upward adjustments to drop rates.
Launch of GEEK Staking
A new GEEK staking service has been launched by PLANZ Inc.
Here’s a summary of the service:
・GEEK Staking https://geek-staking.planz.tech/
By staking your $GEEK, you will receive $USDC airdrops once a month.
Your monthly share of the airdrop is calculated as: (Your staked amount) / (Total staked amount across all users) × Monthly airdrop pool
Please note that once staked, $GEEK cannot be unstaked.
However, the staked $GEEK will remain in place, and you’ll continue receiving $USDC monthly until the staking service concludes.
You may also increase your staked amount at any time.
The airdrop pool for this staking service will be funded by GEEKOUT PTE. LTD., the operating company of Last Memories.
In previous letters, we were still finalizing coordination with relevant parties and made slightly ambiguous announcements.
Now, we can officially confirm that this staking service is part of the restarted Last Memories economy.
Additional GEEK Issuance
To fulfill the reserved exchanges and ensure sufficient supply for ongoing operations, we have issued additional GEEK.
Total newly issued: 1.8 trillion GEEK
・Reserve exchange pool: 330 billion GEEK
・Exchange pool for in-game xGEEK(earn): 570 billion GEEK
・Exchange pool for in-game GEEKBOX: 400 billion GEEK
・Land staking reward pool: 500 billion GEEK
Each of these pools was issued based on the fixed exchange rates defined for their respective services.
With this issuance, we’ve covered nearly the maximum amount of GEEK estimated to be needed under current and future conditions (including current xGEEK(earn) and GEEKBOX holdings).
Unless there is a major shift in service usage, we do not plan to issue additional GEEK moving forward.
Service Continuation Period for Last Memories
We’ve received many questions about the duration of service for Last Memories, especially following our recent letters.
Some users noted that our previous phrasing—“we plan to operate as long as possible”—was too vague.
To clarify, this meant that we currently have no plans to end the service
We understand your concerns, particularly about what would happen to the Land staking period if the service were to end suddenly.
Therefore, let us clearly state:
We guarantee that service will continue for at least two more years.
However, this does not mean that the service will end in exactly two years.
Rather, it means you can enjoy the game with peace of mind for the foreseeable future.
Update to Terms of Service
Notice: Update to Terms of Service
We will be updating the Terms of Service for Last Memories, taking into account changes in the positioning of various in-game currencies and items that could not be included at the time of the original service launch.
The updates primarily include:
・Additions regarding xGEEK (lite)
・Corrections of typographical errors
・Clarifications of certain provisions
Both the general Terms of Service and the Marketplace Terms will be revised.
Please note that in order to continue playing the game, you will need to re-agree to the updated terms.
The update will officially take effect on August 14, in accordance with Article 1 of the Terms of Service, following a two-week notice period.
Even after one full year since launch, we’re incredibly grateful that so many of you continue to enjoy Last Memories.
We’re committed to creating an environment where fans of the game can continue to enjoy it—perhaps not always loudly, but for a long time.
As mentioned in this letter, the DOLLs’ battles are far from over.We hope you’ll continue to support Last Memories!
If you have any feedback (though we may not reply individually, we review everything):ラスメモご意見・ご要望・不具合 投稿フォーム
