Hello everyone,
This is Kumon from enish.
Recently, I shared a letter outlining our plans for GEEK-related updates. Since then, we’ve received a great deal of feedback, including many concerns, through our usual feedback form. I’ve also seen many related posts on X. I truly appreciate the variety of perspectives and the time you’ve taken to share your thoughts. (I’ve included my comments on some of the feedback at the end of this letter, so please take a look.)
Now, let’s dive into the main topic of this letter: updates.
This update focuses on improving the game experience, with performance optimizations being a key highlight. Players using devices with 6-8GB of memory should especially notice a smoother experience. Please give it a try!
Since we announced support for the Ronin chain, we’ve seen a steady increase in players from servers outside Japan, and we’re excited to welcome you all! In Last Memories, I use these producer letters to personally share my thoughts and updates with you.
To all the new players who joined us after our recent announcements: Welcome to Last Memories! I hope you enjoy the game and stick around for all the exciting content ahead!

New Features & Improvements
Priority Adjustments for Equipment Awakening
We’ve updated the priority for base and material equipment during batch awakenings:
New Priority for Base Equipment:
1. Equipped items
2. Items in training (those with upgraded levels or blessings)
3. Red-framed items
This ensures that red-framed items remain as base equipment, but equipped or training items will still take priority.
DOLL & Equipment Awakening Reset
We’ve added a feature to reset awakenings, allowing you to reverse accidental awakenings.
Reset Details:
4-1, 4-2 → Resets to 4
5-1, 5-2, 5-3 → Resets to 5
*Cannot reduce rarity beyond its original state
After Reset:
Levels:
If the level exceeds the maximum after reset, it will revert to the max.
Otherwise, the level remains unchanged.
Materials Refunded:
DOLLs and equipment used for awakening will be returned as generic awakening items.
LOGICO used will be fully refunded.
Level-up materials and Klon will also be refunded if levels are reduced.
If you reset Boosters, Enchanters, or Alchemists, their shared awakening materials allow for actions like resetting a Booster and then reusing its materials for an Enchanter.
We’ve received feedback that these DOLL types are already limited in number, making awakening particularly challenging. To address this, we plan to implement changes that will allow shared materials to be used interchangeably for these types during awakening.
Until then, feel free to take advantage of awakening resets to repurpose materials as described above.
While rarity cannot be downgraded, this new feature was designed to let you experiment with awakening or to provide a safety net in case you mistakenly awaken a DOLL or equipment.
Raid: Union Damage Rankings
You can now view a damage ranking within your Union.
Let’s be honest—we’ve all wondered, “How much damage is everyone actually dealing?” It’s the kind of curiosity that keeps us up at night, so we decided to make it a reality.
Raid: Union Total Damage Calculation Update
[Before the Update]
Total damage was calculated as the sum of all damage dealt by participants during the event.
[After the Update]
Total damage is now calculated as the sum of the damage dealt by the top n members in the Union during the event.
(n = the maximum number of members allowed in the Union.)
This change prevents the practice of continuously adding new members to inflate rankings.
Additionally, following feedback from the recent AMA requesting a change to calculate the total based on "each member's highest individual damage," we plan to implement this adjustment in the future. A separate announcement will be made once the change is ready.
The next raid is scheduled to launch after the conclusion of the Arena Final Phase and will feature a new monster. Stay tuned!
Union Battle: Combat Power Cap Adjustment Method
[Before the Update]
The combat power cap for fields with limits was applied based on the player's combat power after entering the battle. This sometimes caused inconsistencies, such as players' strengths shifting due to passive effects applied post-entry.
[After the Update]
The combat power cap is now applied to parameters before entering the battle. Passive effects and other factors will then be applied based on these pre-entry capped values.
Map Dungeon: Reward Acquisition System Update
[Before the Update]
Players could keep the rewards they had earned even if they were defeated or chose to retreat. Additionally, the map itself would not be consumed.
[After the Update]
Rewards will no longer be granted if the player is defeated or retreats, resulting in a loss.
Note: The map consumption system remains unchanged.
This change addresses the issue where players could exploit Unknown Maps by partially collecting rewards and then retreating, allowing them to farm resources without consuming the map.
Performance Improvements
・Resolved Performance Drops on Android: Fixed issues causing performance drops immediately after launching the app on Android devices and screen freezes during effect activations.
・Improved Performance for Mid-Core Devices: Enhanced performance during multi-battle gameplay on mid-core devices.
・GvG Hit Effect Optimization: Adjusted hit effect processing during Guild vs. Guild battles to improve overall performance.
・Faster Startup Times: Accelerated app launch times across all platforms.
・Updated Recommended Settings for Initial Install: Overhauled recommended rendering settings for first-time installs. Improved overall visual quality by readjusting non-maximal graphics settings.
After dedicating significant effort to improving performance, we consider this update a milestone in resolving performance-related issues. However, we will continue to make adjustments as necessary.
Other Improvements
・Battle Enhancements: Improved visibility for large-scale attack indicators to make them easier to see during battles.
・Event Shop: Added a timer display to show remaining time for event items.
・Pass System Improvements: Rewards are now automatically collected when accessing the pass screen, streamlining the process.
Bug Fixes
・Battle/Matching: Fixed an issue where receiving a notification would cause an unintended screen transition.
・Build Mode: Corrected the misalignment of skill name labels during skill position swaps.
・Raid: Resolved an issue where badges were not removed after the season ended.
・Raid: Fixed a bug where players could not return to the previous screen after accessing menu options in the raid top menu.
・Union Battle: Addressed an issue where exiting and re-entering the battle field would reset the revival cooldown timer.
・Awakening: Fixed a bug where awakening items could be selected and used even if they were not in the inventory, causing an error.
・Chat: Resolved an issue where the union party list would be obscured by the chat window.
・Marketplace: Fixed an issue where wings on Wing DOLLs were not displayed in the DOLL details view.
・Wallet: Corrected a display issue where sub-parameters of the same type were combined in equipment details.

Regarding the Use of Multiple Accounts
We’ve received numerous inquiries regarding suspicions that some players may be using multiple accounts. While we won’t detail specific behaviors, we want to remind everyone that playing with multiple accounts is prohibited under the Terms of Service for Last Memories.
Below is an excerpt from the Last Memories Terms of Service:
10.Users shall not register and use multiple accounts. If it is confirmed that a user has registered and used multiple accounts, the Company may suspend all accounts registered by the user without notice. The user shall bear all responsibility for damages resulting from the suspension of such accounts, and the Company shall bear no responsibility.
11.Users shall not log into the Service using multiple devices simultaneously with one account. If using the account on multiple devices, the user must end the session on one device before logging into the account on another device.
At this time, we recognize that most of the players in question are not maliciously creating multiple accounts or attempting to exploit the system. Instead, we believe their actions stem from their desire to further enjoy Last Memories.
For now, we will treat this as a cautionary notice. However, if there is no improvement, we may have no choice but to implement account suspension measures. Please take note of this policy moving forward.
Additional Notes on the GEEK Policy Update
We’ve received feedback expressing concerns that allocating the GEEK tokens (20% team allocation) to PE2 might mean the development team is giving up on or abandoning GEEK.
In our previous letter, we mentioned this action as “an apology and compensation.” Alongside our sincere apology, the decision was also based on careful consideration of how to mitigate the potential dilution caused by increasing the total supply of GEEK. By reallocating the team’s portion to players’ earnings, we aimed to soften the impact.
We want to clarify that this decision does not reflect any intention to abandon GEEK. On the contrary, our team is fully motivated to grow Last Memories. By leveraging LINE’s massive user base through the Mini Dapp and adopting the Ronin chain, we aim to welcome new players and establish a sustainable in-game economy. We hope this communicates our dedication to making Last Memories thrive for years to come, and we sincerely ask for your understanding and support in this journey.
Now that significant progress has been made in improving performance, we are shifting our focus to enhancing the content within the game. We encourage you to enjoy the upcoming Arena Final Phase and Valentine’s Event, and we look forward to sharing even more exciting developments in the near future.
As always, your feedback is invaluable to us. While we cannot reply individually, please know that we read all submissions.
