Hello everyone,
This is Kumon from enish.
Recently, we’ve noticed a downward trend in GEEK prices. As the price drops, the amount of GEEK you can obtain through xGEEK exchanges increases. This, in turn, makes it easier to complete GEEK withdrawal missions, leading to higher individual withdrawal limits—a cycle that only accelerates the decline.
We can’t ignore this situation any longer. To address the issue before it worsens, we’ll be making some adjustments to the economy. For now, these changes will focus solely on withdrawal limits. We will not be adjusting the drop rates for GEEKBOX, as we’re committed to preserving this aspect of the game. Due to the nature of this adjustment, we may implement it without prior notice, and we appreciate your understanding in advance.
It’s important to note that this is a preventive measure to stabilize prices. To help boost the GEEK price, we’re preparing several large-scale initiatives that we’ll announce in the future. Please continue enjoying the game and stay tuned for these updates.
Now, let me explain the details of the adjustments and the reasoning behind them. (Today’s planned update has been postponed to include the second adjustment mentioned below.)
Adjustments to xGEEK Withdrawal Limits
We will adjust the minimum guaranteed withdrawal limit for xGEEK to levels similar to those at launch. If the previous day’s deposits exceed this minimum guaranteed amount, the deposit amount will continue to determine the withdrawal limit for the following day.
Implementation Date:
Partial implementation begins on Friday, January 10, 2025, with full
implementation starting on Saturday, January 11, 2025.
Note: Friday’s application is designed to allow some leeway, so the impact may not be immediately noticeable.
Depending on how the situation evolves, we may ease these restrictions again if no issues arise. For now, we kindly ask for your understanding regarding these temporary limits.
xGEEK (Earn) → xGEEK (Paid)/xGEEK (Lite) Conversion
We will introduce a new option allowing players to use xGEEK (Earn) to purchase xGEEK (Paid), xGEEK (Lite), and ADP directly from the in-game shop.
Purchase Rate:
The purchase rate will follow the one displayed on the My Page, which aligns with the current xGEEK Purchase Campaign.
No Fees:
Transactions made in-game will not incur the fees associated with xGEEK-to-GEEK conversions.
Example Conversion:
1,000 xGEEK (Earn) → 1,000 xGEEK (Paid) + 400 xGEEK (Lite) + 300 ADP
Implementation Date:
Scheduled for the version update on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.
Currently, the majority of GEEK converted from xGEEK (Earn) in the in-game wallet is used for purchases of xGEEK (Paid) and xGEEK (Lite) via My Page. The withdrawal limit adjustments will affect even those who withdraw GEEK to take advantage of its in-game value, which is not our intention.
To address this and ensure convenience, we are introducing a similar feature directly in the in-game shop.
We are working on a significant initiative that will have a considerable impact on the Last Memories economy, and we aim to announce it later this month (though we had hoped to be ready by today). The current adjustments (restrictions) are only temporary measures to address the present situation.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and kindly ask for your patience during this time. As always, we truly appreciate your continued support for Last Memories.
If you have any feedback, please share it with us. While we cannot respond to each submission individually, rest assured that we read all of them.
