We were recently invited to the Discord of the Union “Excalion” in Last Memories and held an AMA session!
While we’ve often joined existing Web3 gaming guilds in the past, we were both excited and nervous about how this would turn out. However, the session maintained around 200 concurrent participants throughout, and with a Web2 focus that leaned heavily into the game itself, the discussions were deep and highly engaging!

Now, on to today’s update.
The release, originally scheduled for Friday the 13th, was postponed to finalize performance improvements, particularly for Union Battles. We sincerely apologize to those looking forward to the Battle Arena, but we’re excited to bring you this update today.

Events & Campaigns
Battle Arena Season 1 Phase 1 (12/16~)
The Arena battles under the new system are finally here!
With the new format, Arena battles will now take place every weekday, Monday through Friday.
Build the ultimate Master DOLL and take on the challenge!
This time, it's Phase 1 of Season 1.

Hikari seems to have a whole new vibe—what could have happened? The second Christmas season event is here, featuring a classic bingo event where you can earn loads of Klon!

New Features & Updates
Nightmare Difficulty Added to Build Mode
The new "Nightmare" difficulty has been added to Build Mode, starting with Gates 1–5.
This high-level content is designed for players who have already conquered the "Expert" mode.
・HP/MP absorption passives are disabled.
・Shorter time limits compared to other difficulties.
- Gate01: Physical Power Up
- Gate02: Magic Power Up
- Gate03: Water Element Power Up
- Gate04: Earth Element Power Up
- Gate05: Thunder Element Power Up
This mode is designed for those seeking a greater challenge. It emphasizes the importance of leveraging type and attribute advantages, so be sure to use them strategically.
The rewards for investigative teams are similar to those in Expert Mode. Give it a try when you’re ready for the challenge. For now, only five stages are available, but we plan to add more in future updates.
Selective Exclusion for Bulk Equipment Awakening
A new checkbox has been added to the bulk equipment awakening feature, allowing players to exclude red frame and ★3 equipment items.
This makes it easier to process equipment selectively while retaining high-value items.
Sell Unwanted Master DOLLs
You can now sell Master DOLLs for Klon.
The selling price is set at 100 Klon. If no Master DOLL is generated, such as when you don’t rank within the top 11 at the end of Build Mode, you will still receive 100 Klon as compensation, just like selling a DOLL.
This feature is designed to help players manage large numbers of Master DOLLs when setting up team decks. Note: This isn’t a farming feature, so the sale price is a modest 100 Klon per DOLL.
New Visual Effects for GEEKBOX and Engraving BOX
We’ve updated the visual effects for GEEKBOX and Engraving BOX! When they appear, a bright beam of light will shoot up, and a lingering effect will make them stand out even more.
On the results screen, GEEKBOX items will now be displayed at the top, making them easier to spot.
This improvement was inspired by your feedback during AMA sessions. Don’t miss the chance to check out the dazzling new Gold BOX effects!
Union Battle Field Size Adjustments
Field sizes have been adjusted and assigned as follows:
- Rooms 1-12: Regular Size
- Rooms 13-17: Large Size
Improved App Stability
We’ve been working on performance optimizations, focusing primarily on Union Battles. Memory usage has been reduced by approximately 30%, making crashes less likely on devices with lower memory capacity.
This has been a major focus for the past few weeks.
With these improvements, devices with around 4GB of memory (such as the iPhone 12) should now be able to handle 30v30 Union Battles smoothly. These optimizations also extend beyond Union Battles, so you should notice improved performance in Build Mode and other Master Mode content as well.
Installation of reCAPTCHA
To enhance BOT prevention, we have implemented reCAPTCHA in several key areas. The first time you perform any of the following actions, you’ll be prompted to complete a reCAPTCHA verification:
- Creating an in-game wallet
- Opening an Engraving Box
- Making your first listing or purchase in the marketplace
You’ll recognize this as the familiar "I’m not a robot" check.
We understand this might cause some inconvenience for existing players, but with plans to expand marketing and add more features and products, strengthening BOT defenses is vital. Thank you for your understanding and support.

This concludes the pre-Battle Arena adjustments. We’ll continue to refine the balance and welcome your feedback via the form at the end of this letter.
Other Improvements
- Build Mode: You can now directly access rewards by tapping their icons on the stage selection screen.
- DOLLs: Songs and links are now accessible for DOLLs you’ve previously owned, even if you don’t currently possess them.
Bug Fixes
- DOLL Details: The "Sell" button was active for DOLLs in use.
- Union: Content inconsistencies when switching tabs.
- Monthly Pass: Purchase restoration was unavailable on the PC version.
- Unknown: Badge remained after collecting all rewards.
- Miscellaneous minor fixes.

Revised GEEK Ownership RewardsFuture Plans
We have made some adjustments to the previously announced GEEK ownership rewards.
The main changes involve finer segmentation of reward tiers, making it easier to obtain some of the higher-tier rewards (total rewards remain unchanged). However, rewards for holdings up to 10,000 GEEK have been adjusted and shifted to the 30,000 GEEK tier, resulting in a slight reduction for that range.
Additionally, to improve clarity, the tier thresholds have been adjusted to start at clean numbers (e.g., no more "0001" starts).
Revised items are highlighted in red for easier reference.
Note: These changes will take effect with the next distribution (early January). Further adjustments or confirmations may occur before then.

I’m particularly excited about the Battle Arena. It’s been my go-to stress reliever, sneaking in matches during work breaks—though, truth be told, it’s not always a stress reliever when I keep losing. (You’re all so strong…!!)
