New Features and Updates
New Chapter and System Expansions
The new chapter, “Osaka Arc,” is finally here! Alongside this addition, several restrictions have been lifted, such as player level caps. Dive into the new content and enjoy!
Additions:
Chapters 7: Story expansions.
Build Mode Stages Gate 23–30: New challenges await.
System Expansions:
- Player Level Cap: Increased from 100 to 130.
- Charisma Upgrades: Added "Charisma" and "Holy Charisma."
- Master Team and Sub-Slot Extensions: Three new slots added for each.
Nightmare Difficulty in Build ModeFuture Plans
Coming Soon. New stages will be added incrementally with each update.
At last, the wait is over! The story takes a dramatic turn in this new chapter. The screenshots above were selected by the story team, and I deliberately picked the darker, more mysterious scenes—they’re full of intrigue, aren’t they? I can’t wait to jump in and explore.
From a gameplay perspective, the most exciting addition is the new Holy Charisma feature. This boosts the Build Mode level cap by 2, allowing for increased parameters through leveling and growth for two additional skills. The impact on your Master DOLLs could be significant.
While it didn’t quite make it in time for the chapter release, we’re also planning to introduce a new Build Mode difficulty: Nightmare Mode. This ultra-hard difficulty is tailored for those who find Expert Mode too easy. It’s sure to be a thrilling challenge—get ready to test your skills!
Special Effects Applied for "Battle Arena Phase 1"
As mentioned in last week’s letter, special effects for Battle Arena Phase 1 are now live.
Floor Effects:
Increased Attack Range for Water and Thunder skills.
Shrine Effects:
In addition to random effects, shrines now grant the following temporary buffs:
- 100% Cooldown Reduction
- Continuous MP Recovery
- Physical & Magical Damage Boost
- Damage Reduction (Physical & Magical)
- Status Ailment Immunity
※(Note: These buffs apply only to Mystics, Enchanters, Medics, and Alchemists.)
Additional Adjustments:
・Shrine placement optimized.
・Activation time reduced for easier usability.
In this update, we’ve reduced Shrine activation time. The long activation made them hard to use, but now they should be more viable for strategic play.
Shortcut to DOLL List Added
With the growing number of DOLLs and outfits, we’ve added a shortcut button to access the full DOLL list more easily.
It’s a small yet thoughtful improvement—one we hope makes your experience more enjoyable!
Union Battle Field Expansion
We’ve applied the expanded Large-size maps to all battlefields for testing purposes. In the official release, we plan to offer both Standard and Large sizes for each battlefield.
The Large map dimensions are approximately 1.1x wider (core-to-core), 1.4x taller, and about 150% larger in total area compared to the standard size.
Feedback from players indicated that the fields were too small for battles between larger Unions. We hope the expanded fields provide a better experience. Please try them out and share your thoughts!
Balance Adjustments
This is the additional update for the first round of skill balance adjustments.
This time, the focus is on common healer-related skills and adjustments to certain attack skills.

Other Improvements
- Storage: The "Open" button in selection boxes is now disabled until an item is selected.
- Unknowns: Rewards are now automatically claimed after data analysis is completed.
- Other: Various minor improvements have been implemented.
Bug Fixes
English NG Word Detection:
Adjusted the NG word detection system. Previously, if an NG word appeared as part of a longer word, it was still flagged. This issue has been resolved to exclude NG words within larger terms.
Example: If "ng" was flagged as an NG word, words like "playing" or "ping pong" were incorrectly flagged. This no longer occurs.
Other Bug Fixes:
- Wallet: Reduced frequency of 1000022 errors during operations.
- Wallet: Fixed an issue where moving NFTs to storage could result in duplication errors.
- Build Mode: Resolved a bug where auto-organization in team setup could only be used once per screen transition.
- Team: Fixed an issue where badges in unlocked sub-deck setups were not cleared after confirming changes.
- Team: Displayed conditions for unlocking sub-decks were missing and have been restored.
- PC Version: Fixed a bug where checking "Launch" after installation did not start the application.
- Other: Various other minor fixes have been applied
Official Ambassadors
This week, three new ambassadors have joined the program!
Player Name | Title | Activities (Selected by the Player) | Comment from Kumon |
---|---|---|---|
Ashigura | Official Sana Player | I may not post often, but when significant events occur, I aim to use my posts to showcase the charm of Last Memories to more players. In particular, I focus on highlighting characters like Sana, who may not be as recognized for their performance, to demonstrate their potential and share the game's depth and enjoyment. |
Asigura-san is well-known for being an incredibly skilled Sana player. Having a strong main character is truly inspiring and feels like living a dream! While balance adjustments may naturally create advantages and disadvantages, Asigura-san's ability to overcome challenges with strategy and player skill is nothing short of impressive. We also greatly appreciated your feedback during the adjustments to the battle calculation formula (damage formula). |
TAKA9999_JGG | Official Last Memories Patrol | One of the key features of blockchain is transparency, allowing everyone to equally access and verify the token economy. This transparency provides players with the confidence to hold tokens securely and the opportunity to strategize effectively. |
TAKA-san is dedicated to bringing transparency to the economy. One of the unique strengths of blockchain is that both users and operators can observe the movements of FT/NFT holders from the user’s perspective. We’re excited to see more of your contributions in the future! |
Ayakashi | Certified Megumi Cheerleader | As per my image(?) I will continue to promote it modestly but steadily. | Ayakashi-san, who modestly and steadfastly promotes Megumi. I am sure Megumi is happy to be supported by such fans. Please keep up the good work! |
Be sure to check out our Ambassador Showcase!
We’re still accepting applications!

Development Updates and Recent Progress
This update is brief, as we do not have significant progress to report for Steam at this time.
Future Plans for NFT SalesFuture PlansUnder Consideration
We are currently reviewing the pace, methods, and supported currencies for NFT sales based on the results of our recent sales and user surveys. At present, we plan to hold NFT sales approximately every 1.5 months.
Here are some key reasons for this decision:
・Setting six playable DOLLs per sale created a well-balanced offering.
・Survey responses indicated that monthly sales were too frequent.
・A longer gap between sales might make potential buyers wait too long.
That said, we will hold one more NFT sale in December as a special case.
December marks the Christmas season, and we have a lineup featuring many DOLLs in festive outfits. Due to the short sales period, the number of NFTs available may be limited, but we want to ensure Christmas-themed items are delivered during the holiday season. After December, the next sale is likely to occur in February.
More details will be shared soon.
NFT Starter Pack SaleUnder Consideration
This is a continuation of the NFT Sale related topic. Another remarkable result of this survey is that we need to consider a countermeasure.
・The majority of those who do not participate in the NFT Sale are interested in the sale.
・The two most common reasons for not participating in the sale are “I don't know how to do it” and “It's too expensive.
After analyzing the playing conditions of those who participated in the survey, we found that the majority of respondents, even those who play without paying, are interested in the NFT, but do not know how to participate in the sale. In response to this, we have begun considering the sale of trial NFTs that can be purchased in-game at a discount.
Since we are concerned about the impact of this measure on the economy as a whole, we are considering strictly limiting the number of items purchased and introducing a reCAPTCHA (“I am not a robot”) as a countermeasure against BOTs. We will report the details when they are finalized.
Expanding Overseas ActivitiesFuture Plans
In December, we aim to enhance our marketing efforts for players outside of Japan. Until now, the X (formerly Twitter) accounts were divided into Japanese and English, with less information shared on the English account.
Moving forward, we will increase the amount of information shared and engage more actively with players worldwide. This includes hosting more AMAs and other interactive events.
While battles often dominate the discussion in Last Memories, we’d love to hear your thoughts on the new Osaka Arc. Our scenario and world-building team, led by Sumi, would be thrilled to receive your feedback.
Feel free to share your thoughts on X or through our feedback form! (While we can’t reply individually, we review all submissions.)
